Yoga

I started doing yoga about a week ago. It has become addicting, Thanks to my girlfriend Nikki. If its just a girl who is friend do you say girl friend or girlfriend? I really enjoy Yoga Sanctuary in Henderson. That's the hot spot!hehe

So, today is the first day of my 30 day yoga challenge. Meaning I'm going to do yoga everyday for 30 days.

day1: hour and a half of sunrise yoga. Did a head stand for 60 seconds! record for me.


Day 2: level 1&2 yoga 1 1/2 hours. Was a little sore from yesterday. when into child's pose more than I wish I had.... Later today I took another yoga level 1&2 class, which was only an hour.

3 Foods that I love:
- Trader Joe's mac and cheese
- Dairy Queen chocolate oreo blizzard
- apples and peanut butter!

Day 3: Very sore. maybe should have just stuck with the one class yesterday... I did my own yoga at home for about an hour.

Day 4: A morning cup of yoga! 1 1/2 hours. Great class! Everyone is so nice and encouraging. I am so very close to being able to keep my feet flat while in downward dog. I should have it early next week! After class they (Yoga Sanctuary) had hot tea to take home with you. I thought this was a great idea! Ashtanga tomorrow.

Day 5: A little over an hour Ashtanga class. I love this class, it really makes you sweat! Plus the teacher is great. I really wish I had a hot tub! Thanks Nikki for coming with me today!

Day 6: very sore in my upper back. took it easy today....

Day 7: 1 1/2 hours of level 1&2 yoga! Feeling really great after the class. Everyone I've met since starting yoga have been so supportive and nice!
-tomorrow starts my eating "better" diet! we'll see how that goes...

Day 8: 1 hour Candlelight Yoga.... Now such a big fan of this class. All the lights were on, so I'm not sure why they call it candlelight...

Day 9: 1 1/2 hours of level 1 &2 yoga. I really starting to not feel sore anymore!!

Day 10: 1 1/2 hours level 1&2 yoga. Just found out the girls are out of school next week, which means I will be working 7am-7pm.. hope I can somehow keep it up!!!

The Girls

So, as I said before I am a nanny. I watch Maire who is four and Liza who is seven, both very entertaining! This blog will be about funny things the do or say.

- Both girls look a lot like me, people also assume I am their mother. So, one day Liza and I where going to get her dad a card and as we were paying the lady told Liza she was pretty and looked just like her mom. Liza replied, you know my mom? the lady looked puzzled, I said quickly I'm just the nanny.

-Marie and I are driving to go pick up her sister Liza from school. Marie has the great idea, she asks if we can see who can keep their eyes closed the longest. I remind her I'm driving and we might get hurt if I play that game with her. she comments, well I win then...
